The game is only playable with friends. You'll just end up getting raided at 3 am, unable to defend yourself.

The game is not fun unless you run around with 10 niggers ruining the game for everyone around you.
The biggest issue is how long it is to progress from the beginning. Packs of rabid niggers will kill you for your rock for shits and giggles and it requires a lot of resources to get a house going unless you build off of an abandoned one.
I played the game on the original build then gave it another try over a weekend. Had a small house for myself and huge surplus of resources. All of this was taken away when a nigger waited at my door for literal hours and killed me when I opened the door. He had Godmode too.

Also even in the most recent builds the pipe shotgun at point blank range can down someone instantly. even two shots at a distance can down someone.

I honestly prefer survival games where it's singleplayer, with a very in-depth and challenging PvE system. Because PvP survival games devolve into nothing but giant clans raiding everyone with a few small stragglers being successful. At that point no other mechanic matters.

Definitely play it if you like actuallying feeling like a survivalist and gathering food and purifying water. I'd recommend pirating it or playing the demo version first, some people don't like how some story choices are guaranteed to kill you or how there's a disease which has a 70% chance to kill you 30% chance to just go away, which can really turn some people off since it's permadeath

All the structures that exist are what you need
Other than that, its gameplay is

>go out to scavenge for clothes/tools/food
>start collecting hides and cooking meat from the things you hunt/scare wolves away from
>start making better clothes from hides
>go out every couple days to hunt
>watch your finite resources dwindle away
It's so goddamn comfy but also really hard
There's always something you need to be doing, if you're standing around you're not doing it right
Plus, hunting is really cool, you have to actually follow the blood trails to find your kill, and tracking a kill can take the better part of a day. It's a great way to make food gathering challenging
