Nintendo could have done way better this year. They made the mistake of not finishing and releasing twilight princess HD this holiday season. That would have been a system seller, similar to the Wind Waker bundle. All of their other wii u games were either released earlier this year or in the fall. Xenoblade X is good, but a tad bit anime, and only appeals to a niche audience. They have the mario maker bundle, which I guess appeals to the casual audience, but the hardcore fans are left in the blue once again. Nintendo did way better last year with the games and console bundles, this year not so much.

Huniepop is my GOTY. There are a few games better than it, such as Hotline Miami 2, Splatoon, and Mario Maker, but none of them are so amazing that I think they deserve the award. So I'm content to just give it to Huniepop, as a symbol of the sad state of gaming we're in. What's worse is that people are going around saying how amazing 2015 was and how there were all these great games, when in fact I named all the good games of 2015 in this post.
