I used to adore the Armored Core series on the PS1 as a kid but recently i tried to play them again and dear jesus was that control scheme ass. Well i guess i shouldnt say its ass exactly, but so different than anything else that it was jarring to try and play. I gave up pretty early because i didnt want a fun bit of nostalgia to turn into a frustrating experience.
Maybe its time to try some later armored cores. I stopped at 3 and thought it was shit, were any of the later ones better?
