The Undertrash fandom has made Undertale win in Gamefaq's "Best. Game. Ever". What is this shit? It's just another meme-tier game that got Tumblr's attention and now it has a fandom.
But then again I shouldn't be complaining, it's the life cycle of an indie game. Remember FNAF? Most likely not, that game lost all of its fame within a year.
Give Undertale say.. a few years, or 2, another game will come and get famous- and thus the indie game life cycle continues.

The only reason it won is because it came out so recently. The game is filled with rapidly ageing internet humour and lame writing for autists to repeat ad nauseum for a couple of months. That is to say, the game is a meme. And it will be forgotten this time next year.
Well, I just beat True Pacifist and it was unlike any other game I've played. Really enjoyed it. Would replay till the end of time. But tumblr being attached to it makes me cringe and want to vomit

Story = Pacifist
Gameplay = Genocide
I'm not saying Undertale did either perfectly but it does force you to choose one route. Hopefully no one is taking this whole Gamefaq's thing seriously, it's not that important and I'm not expecting OoT/FF7 to win every year.
