There's only one Nier game.
There were two versions of the game made, Gestalt and Replicant.
Gestalt was designed for the west and gave us papa Nier. Replicant was for Japan and gave us brother Nier.
Unless you know moon Gestalt is your only option.
And after you beat the game and get all four endings look up the Google doc Grimoire Nier and read it.

Don't bother, Nier is a complete disappointment.
