No. Series should have ended after DaS1. I'll still play it anyway though.Hopefully we'll see some interesting new locations, it'd also be good to briefly revisit some older ones just for fanservice.

Lore will be fucked, but I'd like to fight the DaS1 (and maybe 2) protagonists as bosses. I'd also like the endings to be better explained and wrap up the series as a whole. Maybe even have more than just 2 "light" or "dark" endings.

My biggest hopes

1. That the new "Battle Arts" are grounded, weighty and not anime flashy. I don't mind super powerful attacks, but they shouldn't be stupid shit like the Greatsword of Artorias's jumping sonic spin sword attack.

2. Bosses that are smart and can't be beaten by counter-rolling. I thought that this was only a problem in Dark Souls 2, but it was also a problem in Bloodborne. I want much smarter boss/enemy AI in general.

3. No more stupid stats. Make the stat system lean. Every stat should matter. No more RES like in Dark Souls 1. No ADP bullshit like in Dark Souls 2. Make END matter, unlike in Bloodborne.

4. Make it so that STR weapons can compete with DEX weapons in PvP. Don't make spears or katanas the strongest weapons in the game. Allow us big hammer or big club users to counter them somehow.

5. Make fat rolling viable. I WANT to be able to play a slow and fat knight, not just a ninja flipping bastard.

Oh yes, i'm very excited about another rehash from From Software, can't wait for more bugged hitboxes, clusterfuck of story, boring NPCs, terrible on-line and a season pass in 3 months after the release of the game and a "super ultra hyper" version of the game after one year of the release of the first and incomplete version of the game.

Oh and my personal nitpick - if you press more than 2 buttons on keyboard controls have lag about half a second, and it is necessary to press a lot of buttons to play game properly on kb/m.

I'm buying both the PC version and PS4 version.

I'll play the PC version for the glorious 60 fps and the graphics mods.And the mega muling so I'll never have to waste time grinding for super rare item drops like Titanite Slabs.

I'll only do PvP on the PS4 version so no hackers there.

Well ideally you don't want to roll at all on a fatrolling build. Your playstyle revolves around tanking - high strength and stamina. It's certainly viable as-is, but I do think making fatrolling more viable (how? increased iframes?) will make it a bit OP.

I want the world to be completely fucked, I want a dark as shit ending that would make Metal bands weep at the cover art it would inspire.

I want bosses that are dynamic in every single way that Bloodborne's are. Including and especially the music changes.

I want weapons that are actually unique, not 6 straightswords that have slightly different stats and the same moveset.

I want weapon-arts to function as if they were trick-weapons on crack, I want different movesets, unique as fuck utility options and beefy fucking attacks

I want bosses to actually react to co-op, and have co-op specific attacks and strats for dealing with them.

I want PvP covenants like the bell-tower, and arenas so the tryhards have a containment zone.

I want lore that all connects and builds upon itself.

I want this to be a game that is a worthy end to the souls series since this is it.

They already confirmed that all bosses would have multiple phases.

Bloodborne came close, but the whole Lovecraft twist was only brought in at the end of the game when only two levels are left, one of said levels you have to speedrun through because the enemies all respawn and you can't even properly take in the atmosphere. Up until then the whole game just feels like an action packed romp through a werewolf slash-em-up.

The previous Souls enemy were all undead, they have this hollow sound to them.
The enemy in the video screech like those in BB .
Even if it not exactly same, having the enemy sound more like those in BB is not a good sign for me.
