Crysis was THE poster boy for the graphical superiority of the PC in a time when the PS3 was -at least theoretically- a formidable teraflop powerhouse. And then came one of the biggest steps back in mustard history, that was Crysis 2. I'd say it was a betrayal akin to that of Witcher 3.

No it wasn't. The console versions were total dogshit where they had to basically strip out almost everything that actually made the game unique or interesting in the first place. They even had to flat out remove an entire mission because it wouldn't work on consoles.
