All you guys are idiots obviously OMEGA is the hardest boss in Final Fantasy he is in a lot of titles. And SE put him in the game just to have 1 unbeatable boss that just trolls you with how he will rape your entire team. Never beaten him once and will never put in the effort to beat him. He also gives the best loot you can get which makes him even that more of a fucking troll.

Old final fantasy bosses are much harder than the new ones. That we can be sure about. The devs back than really didnt care if you beat it. They just put it in to fucking shit all over you. Penance was probably hardest for me, id get 3/4 through the fight (about) 45 mins and then fuck up. I tried over and over and it was just too much so i just used yojimbo. At least with yiazmat you can go to the save point and load up and save throughout. Some of the super bosses in 13 were a pain in the ass but fun. Enou is the only one i havent beaten

FFXI had a boss that could not be beaten after 24+ hours of fighting; whenever it died, it just took on a new form with a whole new set of matching adds.
It also had one that was virtually undefeatable, because it was dealt enough damage to kill everyone constantly, on top of being able to heal itself fully once in awhile.
