Either that or Shinobi III, also on Mega Drive, as it's the easiest. Revenge of Shinobi is vastly different to the original arcade game, but the original is still fun to play.

It's a grindy mess that encourages mindless hacking and slashing due to later enemies being Sponges instead of Technical puzzles.
There is no boss music.
The puzzles, like the one where you had to do the math puzzle, solve themselves and cannot be done out of sequence even if you already know the answer.

How? The game gives you adjustable EXP gained from fights and adjustable difficulty, and even on normal you should have no problem winning. As for later fights, most of them are about dodging and attacking. Watching both screens and running around to avoid enemy attacks while making attacks of your own. Learning enemy attack patterns.

It only plays on boss fights. I get what you're saying though. That a lot of the music between bosses and normal fights was used with both.

TWEWY has a great story, and fun gameplay too, as well as replayability.

B/W was tedious bullshit. Every time I attempt to replay it I cringe away before I even have a chance to get to the first gym. The art style got fucked, and they tried to focus too hard on a retarded story rather than fun.

Nah, there's definitely more to it than that. KOTOR 1 has more interesting characters and better locations (the beginning & Telos in KOTOR 2 were just way too boring). And yeah, at the time of release (which is when I played KOTOR 2) the bugs were absolutely awful.
