Take your George Jetson far-off-year-of-2002 cathode ray piece of katrina fodder out of here, bud
Yeah, I have 2, but don't really have the space for either of them unfortunately.
Used to have a VCR as well, but it broke.

>katrina fodder
Like he hurricane? Does owning a Tube Television make me more likely to be caught up in a storm?
...what?

I've got a big one I got when the oldgamestopthrew theirs out for a flat screen. My friend worked there at the time and scooped it up for me.
I keep it in a room where I have a Sega Genesis, N64, SNES, and Gamecube plugged into it. Old stuff looks terrible on HD tvs in my opinion.

if you live in mexico maybe, lol

Been using my 9-inch not-flat CRT since the 90s, nigga. Played everything from Gears of War to Sonic Generations without having any problems seeing shit.

feels good man
I do
Absolutely nonexistent lag in fighting games as the world should be
this is my vidya station
not shown is my NES, SNES and PS3
currently playing through Final Fantasy VIII on PS1, I could play it on the PS2 or PS3 but I like using original hardware and hearing that god tier startup sound

I have a hard time playing games whose mechanics and reaction time to button presses were burned into my brain
for example double dragon II, cant really pay it on anything with lag, even mario's timing is off on the smb games

>PlayStation TV
why
>>320805038
Lol this. Holy shit.
The store I work at has a shity flat screen with just a DVD player in the break room. Brought in my tube TV and a Pac-Man Plug-n-Play. We also have a highscore chart behind it on a chalk board. It's pretty great on breaks.

it was on clearance and I wanted an HDTV to play PS3 in my bedroom all comfy like
then I needed a monitor and got lazy about it and just used the playstation display I had
I want to get a proper monitor soon, hopefully I'll find a good deal after christmas
>>320805354
Nah stick with the tv. Unless you're gonna dual monitor of course.
>>320805462
no, its not ideal for playing pc games on
for PC it only recognizes it as 60Hz despite being 240Hz
also blacks kinda linger giving a shadowlike blur effect, its not terrible but I notice it and I want a good monitor
also also every once in a while the screen goes black for a few seconds
Anyone on /v/ fell for the curve tv meme?
>>320806701
no, how is it? what is the advantage supposed to be
>>320806937
better contrast, more immersive, more focused image?
>>320799428
its the only way i can play lightgun games
plus i scored a trinitron today for free. its 25" of sweet sweet display goodness
I need a new tv. Current one is big and looks nice, but laggy as fuck when it comes to games.
On certain types of games it doesn't really matter, but platformers and fighting games are borderline unplayable.
>>320799428
Nope. I do have a 19 inch CRT monitor on standby but it only goes to 75 hz at any half decent resolution..
>>320799428
Not anymore, but I wish I still did. I want to play some light gun games. I have Duck Hunt, Point Blank, Elemental Gearbolt, and House of the Dead 2 and they don't fucking work on modern TVs. Maybe I'll buy one now that everyone is getting rid of them.
