It's really not -that- hard to find. I see a platform that the elevator passes by, which makes me think there's something hidden. After getting off the elevator, I see a cliff with a broken pillar below. I assume I can't land on the pillar, but I notice the pillar leads to an opening that may be traversable. Since I'm at Firelink, there's nothing to lose, so I try it. Then I see the prompt to curl into a ball. I curl up. Then I uncurl because it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe if I curl into a ball for a longer period of time?
