Just got this, played the original as a kid so I thought I'd get this, what's the difference between this and the original release?
New side quests, new weapons and armor, and a new post-game area that extends the story. They also fixed some exploits like the shovel glitch.

I'm not familiar with that exploit. It's been a while since I've played it, but the post game stuff is that big island to the north of the map. Really cozy winter town and some new enemies/quests/loot.

Do they also fix the endings? I remember that your alignment didn't really matter and the only thing that determined the ending was wether or not you killed your sister

Do the quest where you save the the archaeologist and donate enough money to to the church to reduce your age, do a hero save, load it, and then do it again, it keeps your age when you load

No. The original ending is still there. To access the post game stuff, you need the Sword of AeonsOr an equally powerful sword called Avo's Tear that you get for not killing your sister cuz lol ur choices dont matter
