Yeah, the philosophy of the game isn't particularly good. Sometimes your interactions with Milton are fairly entertaining and well thought out, but by the end of the game those audio logs were a fucking joke.

If you don't like the Talos Principle, you might like The Swapper. The bad philosophy isn't really as intrusive, and as a side scrolling puzzle game it's actually pretty damn good.
