Have you guys seen description of this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYxt7cwDk4E [Embed]
It actually gives us some information about what Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be.
Things confirmed so far:
>It will be open world
>There will be some sort of "combat zone" where we will probably be able to join one of the sides in the conflict
>Afterlife joint and Forlorn Hope (whatever they are, any CP2020 autist around?)
Also assuming from the mechanics of CP2020, the possible classes of choice will probably be: Cop, Corporate, Fixer, Media, Netrunner, Nomad, Rockerboy, Solo, Techie and Med-Tech.

Cyberpunk 2077 confirmed for MOBA
>open world
Hubs are superior.

which one of those classes is closest to Gray Master
This is a copy and paste.
Somebody has pre-made this thread.
Why? Cause the Embed has shown up twice.
This is a shill.
Is being cancelled one of it's features?

I've posted in in /wtc/ and reposted here since their general is rather ded.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain most of us, that are interested in Cyberpunk 2077, have already seen that video.
I like the music from the background too, I remember someone linking the soundcloud for that and a download link.

I-is that gondola in armor?
>>320763681
You forgot it's confirmed canceled.

But he is right you fuck.
Or atleast mostly.
If Open Worlds would be created as actual worlds and not just half empty landmass with fuck all to do (muh sandbox) than it would be superior, but that doesn't happen often.
Hubs allow you almost the same freedom as open world games do, but with significantly less effort required, which then in turn can be spent on improving the games other features.
It also helps game pacing tremendously

I liked the first Witcher an awful lot, sans the terrible voice acting from some characters. Over all it was a really solid adventure. The second game in the series felt way too tailored towards consoles, and didn't quite have the same charm. The Witcher 3 was better, but I think the first game is by far the most memorable. CDPR has a decent track record based off of that, but clearly they aren't perfect, and are more than capable of fucking certain things up.
I've got high hopes for 2077, it could be a better Deus Ex game than the modern Deus Ex titles. Their capacity for story telling really is among the best out there at the moment, how it all comes together though is what will make or break it. Lack luster or shallow gameplay mechanics make something a chore to play no matter how enthralling the writing is.
>took CDPR 3 games to make a good generic high fantasy RPG based around a pre determined character
>combat was unbalanced and shit in the first two games and 'acceptable' the third time round
>expecting us to get hyped for CDPRs attempt at a character creation set in a cyberpunk setting
>expecting the combat/gameplay to not suck major dick
CDPR can't make a fun game to save themselves. Two thirds of their games were complete dogshit to play.

>CDPRs capacity for story telling is among the best out their
This meme needs to die.

Epic meme, /b/ro
I just love how you can't point out any RPGs with better combat after throwing this bait though.
Can I be sexy robot?
>>320767465
>Nitpicking the plotholes between books and games and subjective whining about small details of game = bad storytelling
Yet another epic meme.
Again, bring up any game with "good" storytelling for comparison. Protip: you can't. All the "best" RPGs until CDPR appeared were produced by BioWare, and they used the same generic plot rehashed over and over again under different skins.

That's like saying a growing filmmaker that has created mediocre films and has recently created a good one will not use the same successful formula in which they have found themselves as a director/writer.
I have faith in CDPR.

>combat zone
I love the sound of this. It's the exact type of thing that could increase the longevity of an open world single player game.
Why did they have to go with the most generic cyberpunk setting? 2020 is every trope from any cyberpunk related work of fiction shoved into one setting. It worked as a p'n'p rpg because you can take what you want out of it. It'll fucking suck when the story is set in stone and there's little bit of everything.

I like how this post didn't get any replies. The correct answer is Dragons Dogma, btw. Not that there's much better than TW3 besides that though.
