But it makes no sense in games where there are revive items and spells. They work on every other character but apparently the party leader can't be resed.

Honestly dude I hate that about Persona but if you're complaining about one hit kill attacks you're shit. First of all, always carry a humunculous, really multiple. No excuse if you on't carry at least one. Second, you can just use a persona that has natural immunity to light or dark or fuse one with nullight or nuldark. You can tell which enemies know the moves by scanning them and again, if you walk around with no homunculous and not a single persona immune to dark or light you're jsut refusing to use the game mechanics designed to counteract your problem.
