Unless that's made up of high tier Nord + Rhodoks or Swadian/Sarrinid + Khergit Calvary don't expect to get very far. I usually go the point where I'm about 130 cap, which you can do pretty easily by just stacking renown through tourney's and bandits, as well as becoming a merc and catching leaders with like 20 units.
Also get the followers, so they can become your lords, if you're using floris, which I always assume people are.

you should be able to go to the king of your faction and tell them you wish to be released from your vassalage
if you've actually helped their faction they'll release you, but you can say "I have no intention of loosing my lands, my lord" and be able to form all the fiefs in your control into your own nation. The faction you secede from will go to war with you and you'll lose about 40-50 relation with whoever the king is.

You can join a king's army, make hella bank and get great equipment, so it's a good way to start.
Also adds additional units, as well as makes bandits able to level into their respective factions upgrade tree (Desert Bandits to H4 Sarrinids, Forest Bandits to C4 Swadians, etc etc). There's also general balancing issues and a lot of under the hood shit I can't be bothered to remember these days.

go to the town you bought it at and visit the landlords and money lenders
if its been two or so weeks and the cash has accumulated it will automatically be added to your inventory
every town has a certain number of acres they're willing to sell, if you want more than what they have available you can buy land and prepare it into something that you can collect rent on, which costs a bit extra than just buying existing land.

I started sieging a swadian castle and immediately as I loaded into the battle like 30 of my guys got killed by the retinue longbowmen, with me dying not long after.
