People play Attrition (TDM) and Campaign (Grab bag mode with story narration over it) and also some of the PvE mode
It's a fun game, dude. You'll get 10 hours out of it for sure. The population isn't large, but it's stable in a few modes.

I mostly see people playing Attrition and Campaign. The good thing about Campaign is it is multiple modes that switch around map to map. So TDM/Capture/etc.
theres a "the floor is lava" mode. too bad i never got to play it because theres no one. 800 players in the weekend, they only play the main mode

Yeah absolutely. It's a real shame that the campaign is often played out of order and the DLC maps were never given the campaign scenario treatment.

Sure you might be able to get a few attrition games in but thats the worst mode in the game by a long shot.
Its a shame because titanfall was one of the best shooters to be released in a long time, at least the second one is coming within a year

It's my most favorite first person shooter I've ever played. Like seriously going fast and shooting is all I ever wanted and mechs give me a huge boner. I have nearly 200 hours in it and while there are not a lot who play it, some are very dedicated and you start to see a lot of the same people and strike up conversations in game pretty frequently. It's a really good game but was fucked over by being so bare bones.

And my 2 cents to OP is they're totally different games and if Titanfall actually had players I would probably pick it since I like the bigger maps and the mech action, but it's so dead I can't recommend it at all at this point.

I played up until a bit after free dlc, tried it on xbone too because of the larger playerbase but it just doesnt feel the same
OP here, currently leaning towards Blops 3 now. Titanfall sounds good, but I just recently bought Hardline and that shit is fucking dead. According to bfhstats there are 1-2k people on during the day one TDM and a couple Conquest lobbies are the only full modes there are, then three or so more modes with less than half the players in them.

Every single map plays basically exactly the same. The middle is a fugfest, and there's no real sneakiness.. from map design and also how borked they design the game with the minimap. Even boost jets show up without a perk.
>BO3 isn't designed around the advanced movement at all. Jumping and boosting always had purpose in AW because you could juke and get up to higher ground, it was unpredictable and made every firefight a more complex exchange of decisions on both sides. In BO3, jump boosting is more like jetpacking in Tribes, it's parabolic and predictable which just makes you an easy target, and since there's barely any high ground to actually reach with it, the mechanic is functionally worthless.
>Wall running doesn't serve a purpose. Wall running towards an enemy is just as stupid as running along the ground towards an enemy, it doesn't make you a harder target and only makes it more difficult for you to aim. If they wanted to bring back and refine the horizontal game, they should have gave more ground-based mobility instead of forcing you into the air for no tactical advantage.
