What are the best lovecraftian video games?
Are there any that feature eldritch abominations like pic related?
You can play as one in skullgirls, though most of it's moveset is it turning into other characters and using their moves.
It's not really represented well in the games but the flood in halo in the lore itself and particularly the forerunner books are honestly some of the best exampels of eldritch elder god cosmic horrors in fiction around..

Bloodborne, despite not being technically true to Lovecrafts general opinion that human beings are powerless against the old ones, unless they ram a fucking boat into one, is pretty Lovecraftian. One of the new areas in The Old Hunters is basically Innsmouth. The aliens are pretty fucking squidlike too.
Darkest Dungeon likes to think of itself as Lovecraftian also. And no, nothing is as cute as Nyaruko.
