Excuse my simple taste.
This game was disgustingly underrated. I loved it, I just couldn't get anyone to try it. I tried to sell it as "Mario Kart with real cars" but no one was interested. Always took forever to start up a match too.
This game, or a game like it, would do fantastically as a free-to-play like Rocket League.

Ridge Racer 64. I thought I just had nostalgia for it but I replayed it last year and enjoyed every minute of it. Decent aesthetics, challenging, and has a great soundtrack.
