Is this a fucking joke?
This is the worst "sale" I've ever seen.
They jacked up the price $1, then have a "sale" where you get $1 off.
Why is this legal?

Its literally the same thing major retailers have been doing since before you were born. Ignore it and move on.

What law is this breaking?

This.
Every "sale" has this bullshit. Do you pay attention to black friday "sales?" Because half of them are shit where the price is jacked up 20% and then sold at "30% off, what a deal!"

Didn't Rockstar do something similar?
>>320695389
They made it so you could not refund GTA V.

Under Rail
Fallout 1/Metro 2033 cross
>>320695429
...how?
What kind of dumbass buys a game at a 7% discount anyway?
>>320695471
By making it so you had to buy GTAV in a microtransaction (ingame currency) DLC bundle, which is not refundable.
>>320695471
IIRC, they included something non-refundable (Rockstar Bucks or some bullshit like that) with literally all versions of the game when they put it on sale.
>>320695389
They advertised the game being on sale a few months ago when it actually wasn't, it was actually just for the fucking shark card microtransaction garbage.
It actually was illegal and they're dealing with some shit from the UK over it last I heard.
>>320695304
Is that not illegal in the US? It is in my country.
>>320695471
Removed the solo game from sale, added in combo packs with shark cards. The shark cards meant the pack was uneligible for refund even if you hadn't used them.

Troll thread.
OP image is from Underrail. The game just left Early Access and is now at full retail release, so the price went up. But the devs put it on that small sale so people could still get it at early access price for a little while longer.
