Despite what you may have been told, NO, NOA is not sabotaging the game. What actually happened is that retailers thought no one would buy the game due to the abysmal reviews, and didn't order any copies as a result.
They wouldn't have brought it up in the ND or put the game on their Youtube channel if they really wanted it to fail.
