You don't seem to understand the huge fucking problem with releasing microtransactions for your game before the game is even released.
The fact that they've missed their own set deadline.
The complete lack of updates for months at a time.
The lack of content in updates when they come out, leaving players playing the same shit for months on end.
The microtransactions were the last straw. Tripwire is dead to me, and only Vietnam being completely perfect will fix that.

The problem here is that it's all funded by the players, so there is no publisher breathing down their neck about deadlines, so the Tripwire team doesn't care about how long they take.
