fully upgraded assault rifles are basically just whack a mole hammers that work on everything that moves
which doesn't matter because you already beat the only actual challenge in the game, which is your companions walking directly over land mines
also you have 100 extra stimpacks that you almost never used
and every single perk, even lockpick, was totally fucking useless
its a good thing you have 200 telephones in your workshop
I enjoyed the game for the first 20 hours.
Then I realized it as the shit it is and haven't played since.

You most likely thought you knew what you were getting in to. It's Bethesda, there's going to be alot wrong with the game. You probably knew it would be paced pretty poorly, and most likely thought that most of the interactions would be dumb, senseless, and full of holes.
But you said, "This is Bethesda, though". You banked on there being a ton of content, no matter how simple, that would eat up your time and entertain you for, at the very least, your money's worth. You were probably like "It's clearly not a GOTY by any means, but it'll any least be worth it".
But like me, you were dead fucking wrong and now you just gotta move on.
The problem is that Bethesda doesn't want to make a proper RPG game, or game with choice.
They had 5 years to do what Obsidian did in 18 months and they failed, with the only improvement being gameplay.
