I have all of the Vita games except PP so far, but I've only played R;1 and Action Unleashed. With my backlog as it is, I just haven't felt like giving R;2 or Hyperdevotion a shot yet. I love the characters, but if R;1 was any indication the beginning of the second one is gonna be boooooring until I get a good chunk in.

How is Rebirth 2? I am almost done with Rebirth 1 and I really like it, but I heard Rebirth 2 is basically the same game, but not as good, and that Rebirth 3 is (once again) basically the same game but better than 2. I mean I do like the sisters/cpu canidates but I don't want to get burnt out on the series with the new one (which looks really good) coming out soon.

The thing is that all three games reuse the assets of Mk2 and V, that's why they look so samey, the story is however, completely different as they are remakes from the main three PS3 games which are HN1, Mk2 and V
Rebirth 1 is a remake of HN1 with mechanics and assets from Mk2 and V, it's currently the best Nep game because it improved the first shitty game with the new assets.
Rebirth 2 and Rebirth 3 are respectively remakes of Mk2 and V with V graphics and the same mechanics.
You will feel them all the same, so if you want to experience something a little bit different with the second game just go for Mk2 instead of ReBirth 2
Get ReBirth 3 because it is better than V in every conceivable way.
Then get Geki Noire, U and PP just for fun and trying something different.

Rebirth 2 might take a bit to grow on you. It's not as good as 1 and 3 but once you get used to the game there's still fun to be had. Meanwhile, Rebirth 3 kicks ass.
