It did work exactly that way, though. Everyone kept saying this before the sale, and they were wrong as shit. There were just as many 75% off sales as the past couple years of sales. Remember, the sales have been sucking for a while anyway, this is all we ever got recently except now it's not restricted to daily and flash sales.
They weren't even doing that community vote thing any more, so no more extra price cuts on top of the sale. The timed sale was nothing more than an annoyance as of late.
