Just started playing about 2 weeks ago. I love it. They need more rare and uncommon quality items to diversify build variety though. Stuff like the very rare quality shield for the man-at-arms that turns him into a rank 4 buffbot + tank are great. I wanna see more of them!

A lot of the code is saved in very easy to change files provided you use notepad, if you have trouble you can increase the stack size of certain items, weapon damage, skill accuracy, crit chance, heal amount as well as being able to edit the amount of gold and resources you need to upgrade. The stuff such as stall mechanics is far far far harder and probably won't be done by anyone unless they really dedicate themselves.
