Fully maxed stats. Every weapon and shield with all upgrades. Every ability mastered from lvl 1 to star with rare effects synthesized. All garbs. All items. Every enemy extinct.

I played for a couple hours but I'm not really enjoying it that much. Even staggering enemies they just have way too much health and it feels super lame to smack on a mostly dead enemy for 2 or 3 minutes.

Dude I highly recommend you keep going, yeah most of the story/main quests are shit but the sidequests actually have glimmers of classic FF in them. There's one where you have to save a kid who gets trapped in the body of his resurrected cat, with a surprisingly touching ending and good VA(the ghost of the dead cat talks to the boy and it's completely ridiculous but appropriate and funny).
Or another minor one where some guy asks you for monster drops so he can bring them back for the test he's taking to become a hunter, and Lightning calls him out and says he's just setting himself up for trouble if he can't fight, so he admits that he's actually taken the test like a hundred times and she actually changes her mind and decides if he's kept on trying for so long he'll find some way to succeed.
It's all completely ridiculous and if you try to take it too seriously obviously it sounds terrible but it has a certain charm to it, in the same way as Cloud crossdressing in VII was or when Quina and Vivi got married in IX.

For some reason the game actually seems to run slightly better for me in 4K. There's some pretty bad stutter when loading in new areas though which I'm surprised to see hasn't been mentioned anywhere.

I'd say roughly 30 hours. It has pretty decent replayability though, you only unlock weapon/armor/accessory upgrading in NG+, and the combat's more complex than you'd expect.
The number one tip I can say is don't worry about time. Once you know what to do, you can easy finish main quests and most of the side quests in 3 days (probably even less). Just enjoy the game and don't try to rush things.

LR's pretty good. Plot keeps the retarded shit to a minimum, it's more or less self-contained, and the combat and customization systems are actually pretty fun. It manages an open world pretty effectively, and actually feels like you're exploring shit, not just running down a coridoor. And Lightning and Hope's banter with Hope being the idealistic rookie and Lightning the deadpan snarker actually works pretty well.
It's one of the best Final Fantasy games in years, but nobody played it because XIII was shit.

Liberal usage of the chronostasis thing. I, like you, took some time to get going as I learned the game but later on I was completing dozens of quests and even multiple major quests per day. It's a matter of planning when and where to be at what times and how quickly you can get there. I'm sure if I started from day 1 with all that knowledge and a perfect plan on hand I would be able to minmax my time the complete everything that fast.

I just finished a ng+ run in about 3-4 daysAre you doing main quests linearly? For example, On day 1 after you get told that you can do things elsewhere, you should start working on the dead dunes main quest. before 6am.
Only luxerion and yusaan have time specific main quests, so you can teleport/train it to wildlands/dead dunes in the meantime.

I know you're probably one of those fags who thinks polycount and texture resolution is everything, but I'm personally impressed how much of a difference the updated lighting and color correction makes. Even with the obvious billboarded foliage and awful LOD and environment textures, just the fact that everything is more or less the right saturation and value for any given time of day is something very few open world games achieve.

Stagger with alternating aerora+thundara so you don't trigger combo finisher during ravager mode until he staggers
Use Beat down with a spear equipped for ez stagger during commando mode.
Don't forget about debuffs and learn his drawn out swing/casting animations and use heavy guard on sacred armor garb. He's honestly not that difficult once you learn his moveset

Her proportions are fucked up to accommodate the various oversized outfits she wears. If you look at various anime and videogame characters you realize that their underlying proportions are similarly sticklike/unrealistic but it looks visually balanced because they have unrealistically huge and/or elaborate outfits.
Because this is a low budget title and because it would be impractical and unrealistic in a different way to change her body proportions for every set of clothing, they made her default body even smaller in this game to give themselves extra leeway, so to speak. So the default billowy costume you see in all the promo artwork looks okay, but more realistically proportioned clothing like that academy uniform makes her look uncanny as fuck.It's still inexcusable because practically half of her outfits are form-fitting instead of all being similarly proportioned
