Well, there's my answer then.
there's usually 2 or 3 full 64p classic servers up for EU starting late noon.
Classic is aiming to emulate earlier battlefield titles with some of its mechanics, so:
no dorito shooting
no health regen on players and vehicles
only spawn on SL
minimap spotting is enabled
hud is enabled
regular health for players
and some other stuff I don't remember off the top of my head
still waiting for that greatest hits/game of the year version with all the dlc includedin the disc

Every server that has this map is having a stroke.
Mad rubber banding. It's also frequently dipping below 30fps on my system even though every other map runs at 210.

I don't play BF very often but I never seem to tire of it. It's so easy to rack up kills once you learn the maps and figure out the best weapons. I'm only level 109 or something, but I average 80-90 kills on long games and find it incredibly easy to stay alive for long periods of time. Majority of the players are quite bad, and it's just easy to dominate which is fun for an hour or so. Even with it's glitches, there's no need to dismiss the game at all. I'm in the UK and have no trouble finding servers full of people

really depends on which server and gamemode you land.
I highly recommend sticking to classic, it's where the better players usually hang around and you can even get the occasional squad play going.
