What are the best main towns/hubs/bases?

I think in the From games Hunters Dream is the comfiest. It feels the most safe.

Love when it gets filled up with NPCs midway through the game. Just a bunch of lost souls stopping to rest before all going off on their own quests. Then it slowly empties as they begin dying off or going mad...
