If you're so good at video games, then why don't you go win at one of these?
>>
>>320574035

I did, I won a shitty little pocket radio
>>
Because most of the huge prizes are set to pay out at every 150 games.
>>
>>320574035
They are payout machines. They are only possible to win 1/n tries. The n being set by the guy who owns it.
>>
Artificial difficulty
>>
Because it cheats.
>>
Those are rigged not to pay out till they have a certain amount of money put in
>>
Because it's fucking rigged
These machines literally cheat
>>
I won a Ken Griffey Jr. autographed baseball from a claw machine at a rest stop in Montana when I was a little tot. After that I think my luck in life ran out though.
>>
>>320574035
They're not games of skill until the machine has reached a pre-set quota of money being put in.
>>
I play claw machines all the time. Anything else is shit tier.
>>
I can make it to the second to last block but there's a 150/300/500/1000/1500 in 1 chance that the final block actually goes where you place it. In other words its made so you can only win when the machine's random number generator allows you to.

Its not even a hard game.
>>
>>320574238
>>320574260

You just need to get good.

>>
>>320574035

Could this be a viable way of getting an Xbox/Ps4/iPhone etc?
>>
>>320575031
It's exactly as viable as buying scratch tickets
>>
>>320575031
You would be better off just buying the product you want retail.
>>
>>320574926
>This guy has been doing videos for ten years
That's kinda fucked up.
>>
>>320574926
>get good

That video just said the same thing that they said, the game cheats.
>>
Aren't these things literally gambling machines and technically illegal to put out for public use?
>>
>>320574035
I still wonder how the fuck these are legal same with claw machines that all sorts of fucked
>>
>>320574926
braaah, stacker thoooo
>>
>>320574035
Payout machines. I can get to the top every time (a terrible product of high school dumbassery) and when you know you nailed the ast blocj the game doesn't tumble down like usual, it just resets.
>>
>>320575542
I have between 50 and 100 stuffed animals from the past 6 months of claw machines. You just have to find the ones that aren't jewy
>>
>>320575692
Oh I get that I just wonder how the fuck it's legal to own and operate ones that are literally broken

I actually won something from one of those prize machines where you have to press the button at the right time to make the light stop on a certain bulb. It was a pack of Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and I think I still have the Fairy Meteor Crush card I got from it.
>>
>>320575790
I don't know. I like to break the joystick on the shit machines.
>>
>>320574035
I've worked at an arcade for a year now and Ive only seen one person win at stacker
>>
>>320576296
What kind of arcade? I have few Dave n Busters and Scene 75s here that have some good claw machines.
>>
>>320575541
Technically no, because you can win a minor tier prize every time because it doesn't cheat until the last block. It's legal because it is skill based to win a prize every time, just not a major prize. I mean, maybe your state blocks out this loophole, but most places it's okay.
>>
>>320576359
I live in Vegas and work at one of the arcades on the strip. we have 3 stacker machines

The prizes are decent imo. Apple TV / Some camera / xbox 360 controllers / Fire tablet hd 7? i believe and of course a paper that you can redeem for a shit ton of tickets if you choose that route

They used to have one of these at my local theater. The speed was set pretty low on this particular unit, the minor prizes were all DVDs (good stuff, 90's action films and the like) and as described in >>320574926 besides the major prizes it clearly wasn't rigged.

One day I came with a pocket full of coins and cleaned it out, some 12-15 or so DVDs.
>the machine was gone a week later
>mfw
>>
>>320574035
my buddy beat this game in only 2 tries at dave n busters and the machine broke apparently and we got 1000~ticket payout. i guess you just suck ass if you cant win at this game?
>>
>>320576758

I don't remember any on the south end having stackers

I'm too busy winning at one of these desu senpai
>>
>>320574035
I did win at one of these once. I won a DS off it years ago.
>>
>>320576758
The better the prizes the lower the chances of winning, unfortunately.

>>320576790
Those cut machines are bullshit. They are just as bad as the ones with the key that has to fit into the tiny hole.
>>
>>320576913
read the fucking thread
>>
>>320576913
1000 tickets is like $5 for anyone good at the other games. Shit prize.
>>
>>320576913
Those things will break itself once someone gets a good prize
>>
>>320577020
im saying it to all the peoplewho couldnt beat the game bitch
>>
>>320576758
>vegas

you in henderson senpai?

is it time for a fucking meet n fuck? im 20/m/anthem
>>
>>320577214
Too stupid to actually read the thread so you just resort to talking like a 14 who wants to be "hardcore'. You really are the kind of idiot these games are designed to sucker in.
>>
>>320577214
winning a major prize is not just skill based, as people in this thread have already pointed out. the machine will literally only let you win a major prize 1/n times, with n being set by the owner of the machine.

>>320577214
and if you read the thread, you'd see that the game is 100% rigged and winning it is pure luck

Post the arcade games that you're the best at and consistently win at

Pic related for me
>>
>>320577639
kek. If there is room you can tip that machine backwards when you play and win 99%. The 1% being that fucking hole halfway up
>>
>>320574926
>that fucking douchebag haircut.
>hollister shirt
Fuccboi confirmed.
>>
So every prize machine out there is rigged? Isn't that illegal?
>>
>>320577785
see
>>320576618
they use a loophole
>>
>>320577785
>So every prize machine out there is rigged?
Yep

>Isn't that illegal?
I don't think so, casino games do the same thing
It probably should be though, but I think it's kind of hard to set a legally defined line of what is and isn't "rigged," and there will always be loopholes
>>
>>320577432
You're right i only read the OP dont care abou t any other posts here

literally watched him beat it using superior reflex skills and by not being a nerd with no coordination
>>
>>320577470
Midway any good?
last time I went arcade hopping I skipped it
still pissed the arcade off of Hacienda and Rainbow lasted only a few weeks since it was cheap, clean and had Virtual-on for quarter a play
>>
>>320577874
>dont care abou t any other posts here
Then why do you keep responding?
>i'm not crying, it's just raining.
>>
>>320577639
>people would tape a ramp across that last ditch near the top because it was so bullshit

thank you
>>
>>320577874
>superior reflex skills
fuck man you cannot be 18
>>
Because the last line is blatantly rigged, everything else is fair game.

>>320578494
Actually, a couple of the lines are rigged, aren't they? So that you always end up with one block left?
>>
I gotto the lastt line and fucked up, okay?

stop haunting meeee
