Mega Man and Ryu make perfect sense to me. Pretty much all of the Mega Man games have been on Nintendo consoles/handhelds and there have been tons of Street Fighter games on Nintendo stuff as well
Cloud does not make sense. The only appearances Cloud has ever made in a Nintendo game is in Final Fantasy Theatrhythm and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and he isn't even a main character in either.

To me Miis were an obvious inclusion and I'm a bit surprised they weren't in Brawl. They're the mascot of the Wii brand so they're obviously a big part of Nintendo history. Plus they obviously have the gimmick of being anyone you can create.

also she has some landing lag, but it's proportional to how cuhrazy she gets in the air. Short hits and strings shouldn't be too hard on her upon landing
