>getting into expanded universe
Welp, looks like we are a franchise now.
>>
>>320546098
The developer of that game gotta be the luckies guy in the planet
Literally the entire internet is making the story of his games for him he just needs to log into a forum and copy paste the best creepypastas he finds
>>
>>320546098
There's 22 months now?

FUCKING AMERIFATS
>>
>>320546098
Isn't there going to be a movie too?
Didn't play the games but animatronics spooked me through my child/teenage years
Might bee cool, but its by the guy who made that fucking poltergeist remake...

His story to success is actually pretty great, I like it. He did good for himself.
>>
>>320546098
What? the incoming movie didn't tell you this was a multimedia franchire already?
>>
>>320546415
Yeah and 2012 was years ago. This date is all fucked up.
>>
>>320546546
Jim Henson's Creature Shop is doing the animatronics.
>>
>>320546743
how many videogame movies are stuck in development hell? at most right now we have people working on the animatronics.
>>
>>320546415
But it makes more sense this way.
December 22nd, 2015

>>
>>320546874
Good point, but this book actually came out, is multmedia officially.
>>
>>320546098
Does anyone have the book and willing to share? I'm a poorfag and can't afford it right now. Couldn't find it on the internet either
>>
>the 22nd

So like tomorrow then, knowing Scott.
>>
>>320546874
>FNaF
>Development hell

All it needs is half decent animatronics. You can slap together literally any shitty slasher film plot you like and cash in on the dipshit kids who love the series
>>
What if the book is actually a smut novel?
>>
>>320547103
Unless it's exclusively Toy Chica going full lesdom on Regular Chica, who would buy it?

I'm curious, I might pick it up next week.

You think? I just picked up the 9th book in the Ever After High books.

www.scottgames.com

Looks like it's out now.

So we're officially publishing fan fiction?
>>
>>320547434
Well who would've fucking guessed that it came out earlier than the original date?
Time to step into the abyss that is Reddit and that god-forsaken General to see what the fuck is in the box.

http://www.amazon.com/Five-Nights-Freddys-Silver-Eyes/dp/1522771565

Well, it's available on your Kindle and paperback. Let's see how long this gets milked.
>>
So, this game, the story of which is kinda mediocre (especially for a "horror" game), is somehow popular enough to get a book and a movie, on top of three seqeuls?
And people wonder why the indie crowd is full of self fellating faggots who think they're hot shit.

Will there be an explanation for why Mike went back every night

That's all I need
>>
>>320548279
it's about the daughter of the owner from the second set of murders.
>>
“Right!” Jessica burst out laughing before quickly thinking of something to share. “Last year there was this guy Donnie,” she said. “I was gaga for him, like really. He was so sweet to everyone. He wore all black all the time, and he had this black curly hair so thick all I could think about when I sat behind him was burying my face in it. I was so distracted I ended up with an A- in Trig. He was super artistic, a poet, and he carried around one of those black leather notebooks, and he was always scribbling something in it, but he would never show anybody.” She sighed dreamily. “I figured if I could get him to show me his poetry, I would really come to know his soul, you know?”
>>
>>320548450
But will it explain Mike's irrational determination to do the job?

Literally nothing else matters. It just needs a line about "how this one guard survived a whole week because he was an adrenaline junkie furry snuff fetishist" or something
>>
>four massively successful games in less than a year with a fifth on the way
>toy deals
>upcoming big budget movie deal
>book deals
>potential millions of dollars of profit all for almost zero effort

Scott Cawthorne is the success story we all wish we were.
>>
first 3 chapters

The animatronics they talk about in the story are the withereds, the first five murder case.
But the teens, as they remember the building, mention that the pizzeria looks exactly same, in 1995, which is now the fnaf 1 building.
The only way it could be the same building in 1985 and 1995 is if the Withereds were put back into their pizzeria after the fnaf 2 building closed down. The animatronics got a new look, but they are back at the pizzeria the kids got murdered in.
That is why there is a saferoom in the “new” pizzeria when there shouldn’t be, because it’s actually one of the first pizzerias, which is exactly what MatPat talks about in his fnaf 3 video.

d another thing: They hear a “music box” playing at the stage. Not a chime which is what actually plays randomly during the fnaf gameplay.
A music box. In the fnaf 1 location.
>>
>>320548692
Eh, wait a bit before saying that. Who knows if this' ll all come crashing down horrifically and spectacularly somehow.
>>
>>320546283
I'd say that's Notch, actually.

Basically a more successful Scott.
>>
>>320549016

Scott's already made a stupid amount of money because of the games. All the other stuff is just real buttercream icing on what is already a very rich and moist cake.
>>
>>320549016
He's already found success with all the money he's made.

But you're right - FN@F is already fading from popularity. No one talks about it anymore and when FN@4 was released barely anyone streamed it and the views for LPs dropped significantly.
>>
Can any of you autismos that enjoy these "games" explore the attraction to me? I used tobplay "super epic spoopy XD" horro games whose gimmicks consistes entirely of screamers back in 2004 on Newgrounds for free.
>>
>>320546098
everybody in here is ironically discussing this flash game right? right? right? right?..............................................

neo /v/ is worst v
>>
>>320549212
>>320549016
well, he can't exactly live off indefinitely off of the money made from the four games.
>>
>>320549214
>i don't understand people who has different taste from me.
>>
>>320548692
I don't think he's in it just for the money. He just wanted his games to be successful and his other outings never panned out.

It's going to be sad when the world moves on and he's left with nothing.
>>
>>320549214
it's honestly not that hard to believe. it's an easy and simple game to pick up 1 level takes up to like 7 minutes, easily something for someone on the go.
>>
>>320546098
How does it end
>>
>>320547573
>especially for a "horror" game
It's not like there are many good horror games to begin with
>>
>>320546098
Does anyone even care about this anymore now that Undertale has all the autistic attention?
>>
>>320547573
just like film, creating a "horror" experience is tough, especially since what scares a person differs from person to person.

like for me, I could create a horror movie about Acrophobia, it might not scare the majority, but it will scare someone.
>>
>>320549413

>why do you have shit taste?
>cant understand why I have shit tastes???? What are you a bigot???
>>
>>320550312
>people that have different taste from me are instantly classified as "shit taste."

We can do this all night, anon.
>>
Can the FNAF even read yet?
>>
>>320550672
did you just a word. anon?
>>
>>320550672
only murrica children can't read.
>>
>>320550905
Well the roberts are embroideded with the dead chilluns so tgats right.
>>
>>320550672
no kids are just going to watch a LP or stream of someone reading it
>>
>>320550409
You like a meme flash game that had similar games released on Newgrounds for free over a decade ago. You objectively have shit taste. You're like someone who only listens to pop music trying to claim you have musical tastes on par with someone that has interest in relatively niche and hard to get into genres like shoegaze or mathrock.

>You'll never stitch together a game from a simple concept and using 1998 computer graphics that causes a internet phenomenon with toys, a movie, and shit tons of porn

I like Scott but I can never not be mad jelly that I couldn't think of FNAF first.
>>
>>320549212
You are fucking wrong, kids love FNAF, there is mech of it everywhere, even bootleg t-shirts with art stolen from the internet.
>>
>>320551758
>kids love FNAF
I never understood the issue of this. Kids also love Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees.
>>
>>320552014
to be fair, Freddy was easily watered down in the later films.

Fucking Americuck. The 22nd December? The fuck?
>>
>>320551416
I felt that way until I heard more of his life story. How he was developing games for years that were all obscure at best, panned at worst, and when one critic said his innocent beaver character looked like a scary animatronic, he took that critisism as a suggestion; deciding to try making one last game before giving up on the industry. That game used simple graphics and simple gameplay in a way that was unique for the time (Ignoring shitty obscure games like Night Trap because no one gives a fuck about Night Trap) and ended up being a huge hit. I'd probably resent him more if he was just some teenager who made one shitty rpg maker game that became a huge success because of ironic memes or whatever, but Scott worked really hard and had a lot of faith in his projects when any honest critic would tell him "maybe the games industry isn't for you".
Don't get me wrong, he completely and utterly sold out, but I don't blame him. He's just living the American dream.
