Gameplay wise it's kind of tedious and you have to raise pokemon (Dream Eaters, pic related) for stats/abilities. Flowmotion is real overpowered. Load times are fine in 1.5. They're pretty bad in 2.5. It has to do with the PS3 and Blurays in general having HORRIBLE disc read speeds. However, there's all the definitive versions of the games. The only time the load times are really an issue with 2.5 are with Drive Forms and such.

Most noticeable is a fucking load time to use a drive form which is occasionaly terrible because clocks and timers keep running while Sora is frozen activing a drive.
Altogether perfectly acceptable though, especially with the BBS port and the extras included in both editions.

KHIIFM has one major, consistent glitch but it's easily circumvented. Not a big issue.
2.5 is the best version of BbS, easily.

Monsters Inc. could take place after the movie where laughs are used instead of screams. Logically this would suggest that monsters don't fear humans like they used to.
The worlds of shit like Finding Nemo, Bug's Life, Ratatouille, and Inside Out probably won't be used at all just because they don't really fit anyway.
And Sora's presence on the Axiom as a normal, fit human being would probably be a good inciting incident. Like, he could show up the same time that WALL-E and EVE are there and get mixed up in the chaos?
Just saying, the solution isn't always to have them transform. That's just to maintain the status quo and not suggest to the public that there are many worlds. They didn't turn into gorillas in Deep Jungle, they didn't turn into pirates or whatever in Port Royal, etc.
