I've gotten over the emotional roller coaster though and understand pretty much everyone is trying to market something to me, be it what show they're watching, game they're playing, diet they are doing, or whatever lifestyle choice they choose to sell to everyone cuz they like it. And I work in research and the bully/push over dynamic is definitely there.
