Handhelds really are the ultimate VN system. Played through Steins;Gate recently and I just couldn't picture myself tabbing through all that text on a PS3 or PC. You can treat it a little more like a book this way.

I spent a while deciding between getting Steins;Gate 0 on PS4 or Vita, but ultimately went with PS4, since remote play means I can play it on my Vita anyway, and input lag which usually pisses me off in remote play is a non-issue in a VN.
But despite that, I've mainly been reading it on PS4, which surprised me. The art looks beautiful in HD, and I like having my hands free to eat and drink while leaving it on auto.
Up until now, I've felt like you, that I wouldn't have the patience to read one on a TV or PC, but I am completely the opposite now, and will probably always opt for the console version if there is one.

I've never really heard of this g series apu. But assuming its around the same performace at the A apus then it should be able to run most games, at 720p and low-medium settings most games don't need a fantastic gpu to run at 30+ fps. The main concern would the heat, with no fans that thing is gonna thermal throttle after a few minutes and lose its performance quickly. Also the 4gb of ram is a little low for some games it should be bumped up to 8. Honestly your better off with a laptop.

But bioshock and deus ex are unreal engine 3 from like 2007 need I remind you, and it'll fucking work fine. Those games ran fine on a fucking 9800gt, a fucking hd4850, etc. This has an embedded gpu better than that, it's not your usual garbage on-board graphics

I had a $500 laptop on Steam for three years and the APU on that was likely worse than this. I played everything at 768p and mostly everything ran at at least 30FPS. It wont run the Witcher 3 but games it will be able to play smoothly alone will rival the library of the 3DS and I think it will be great even if it cant play AAA games maxed out the value is immense in my opinion as someone who understands laptop limitations.
For example if I look at my most played games on Steam (200+ hours) this thing will run them no fucking question. I know its popular to hate TF2 now but for me as someone who plays it a lot the idea of mobile tf2 that is the same as on PC is fucking crazy and I will play the shit out of it.

They're lying on all fronts. They told people to look at a different SKU in the same line to base performance expectations off of. That "new" SoC they claim they had an NDA for is infact an already released chip. The Beema line is a simple refresh of Kabini with slightly higher clocks at lower power.
They have no NDA with AMD, there is no magical new chip, they were being intentionally deceptive about everything because they knew scrutiny would kill their absurd claims.
