I really liked it as a quirky off-beat RPG with good presentation but the deepest lore/feels/tumblr shipping fanbase that ended up clinging to the game because of Toby's roots in Homestuck makes it hard to discuss it anywhere.

"Get good" being their go to reply to any form of criticism is cancer. The game is not perfect, stop acting like it is. Super ironic when they can't take "Get Good" back when the topic of Dark Souls II begins.

MGS3 is a garbage game by every possible standard you will apply to it, compare it to the game before it and it will either look like a menu browsing slower paced "experiment" with even worse controls or a very mediocre stealth action game with terrible controls
It easily puts the game into perspective when you compare it to something like Chaos Theory which came out at the same time, with infinitely superior stealth and shooting controls/ mechanics
GZ (and by extension, Phantom Pain in a way) are the only logically good MGS games after 1 and 2 since they aren't clunky and outdated gimmick games with nothing to fall back on apart from their nostalgia driven appreciation
Go ahead and make a single argument for why MGS3 is better than MGS4 or GZ without resorting to "I liked x thing more"
