So what comfy games are you planning to play over Christmas?
I'd like to finish Fallout 4, but I'm not sure what to play after that, been thinking about giving the original Witcher another try, maybe Homeworld or replaying Fallout 1 and 2.

FFXIV probably, I've been playing it over the last few days and it's pretty damn comfy. Exploring the zones and questing while listening to that OST is just perfect.

been slowly working on Fallout 4 myself, but not making fast progress on it. Fallout was always the series I had to take in small bites.
I've been wanting to play some old-style party RPGs, been considering emulating Final Fantasy 3
Also on the possible list are playing back through Symphony of the Night, possibly revisit Oblivion/Skyrim until I nuke it with mods again.
Any other suggestions on old-style RPGs are welcome too.

Definitely Icewind Dale, it's an awesome game to play in winter. Great vistas, great soundtrack. It's heavily combat oriented though, but the story while cliched is the right kind of heroic.

Heh, I've replayed both WoL and HotS in preparation for LotV recently. It's a lot of fun on Brutal, especially while going for the optional achievements. The story really is awful though.

Ever year around holiday time I usually play OoT and Spyro games again. I know comfy nostalgia is buzzword shit but the holidays when the leaves have fallen and things are calm and cold are when PS1 and PS2 games become more and more appealing to me.
Ill go back to fallout 4 and AC syndicate when I wanna get out of the past though.

Just started playing fallout 1 and I'm having a blast. Super comfy, the fact that I can go anywhere I want and do anything I want as anyone I want is nice. This games has virtually no restrictions compared to f3 or f4, it's refreshing.

Yeah, combat isn't necessarily that game's strongest suit but the pacing of the exploration and versatile control scheme make it incredibly fun to play despite the low difficulty

I only played 8. The older Wizardry games are really old and hard to get into. And they have grid based movement, which I dislike.
8 however is still very nice and aged well.
