The problem with a game like this on sony platforms is that sony caters to the wrong audience. You can't have a brawler, pandering to the western audience, filling it with mature men shooting each other. You'd need japanese reps since they are the only ones who have a power level high enough for this kind of game. It's sad, the game had potential.
Guys like Parappa and Daniel are cool, if somewhat obscure, but they really needed to get rid of characters like Big Daddy, Donte, and Isaac and add more iconic Playstation characters like Lara, Snake, Dante (the actual one), Cloud, Wander, and possibly Spyro and Crash if they could get them (probably not, but Activision likes money, Sony could have arranged something).
And get rid of fucking Supers and just steal Smash's knockback mechanics because Supers are lame. Then you'd have an actual competitor to Smash and not just a complete money-sink.
I really liked the game, the gameplay was good, but the kill mechanics were garbage.
I'd love to see a sequel someday.
