What game are you thinking about replaying over Christmas/New Years, /v/?
Pic related for me.
Always replay Merry Gear Solid around this time
>>320435107
Silent hill 1-3. Problem is they look awful up scaled on my hd tv, I really wish my mom didn't give away my crt
fable the lost chapters
>>320435107
My little sister has been off school so we've been playing nightfire and time splitters multiplayer
pretty comfy
>>320435107
Last Christmas season I replayed Advance Wars Dual Strike and Days of Ruin.
I guess I'll replay the Uncharted trilogy since I got a PS4 on Black Friday.
>>320429448
Got the need to replay Sly 4
>>320435107
I tried to replay this but there is SO MUCH DIALOGUE
I seriously dunno how kid me had the attention span
>>320436063
>play rpg
>not expecting talking
>>320436173
in other games the dialogue is less terrible
>>320436173
Golden Sun is especially terrible about it.

You can only get any value out of a game through it's first playthrough. You're wasting your time.
Buy a new game like Fallout 4, Xenoblade Chronicles X, or play any one of the great MOBAs constantly being updated with new content
>>320436331
Always some retarded as fuck shit on 4chan isn't it?
>>320436173
it was more the vast swathes of unskippable dialogue that did it
some scenes lasted at least ten minutes, and you couldn't even save the game in the middle of it iirc
Want to play a comfy JRPG this winter, have to decide between Bravely Default, Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy X or Tales of Zestiria. Help /v/
>>320437126
is there any way for me to play bravely default if I don't own a 3ds?
Parasite Eve son. It's a Christmas first of all and it's comfy 90's goodness.
>>320437126
FFX is the best.
Got a PS4, so I'm gonna get back into Warframe and Skullgirls. Gonna be a comfy Christmas
>>320435252
Go to a thrift store or Salvation Army, dude.
>>320438146
Does it take place on christmas?

I really want to play it but I know it'll be on sale in a week. I will just have to stick to Pillars of Eternity until then.
>>320435107
FFVII.
Having a great time so far, although the prerendered backgrounds are giving me trouble at times.
>>320438680
You remember to press the button that enables an arrow over the zone exits?
>some houses contain ovens
>they all have unique flavor texts describing what the occupants are cooking for dinner, like the old couple in the werewolf village making skewered lizards
Golden Sun was maximumcomfy.
>>320438515
Yes
Anyone else come to love the larger quest-hub cities that have you running around town doing small errands for the townsfolk? I used to find it annoying but now I am super fond of it. It feels very comfy and I like just mingling with the townspeople. Makes me feel wanted.
>>320439014
Yes.
Even then I have still have problems finding out what I can interact with/walk through. It's not a huge problem, but it's a little annoying.
>>320439408
Anything that makes it seem like NPCs actually have their own lives and aren't just props is good in an RPG.
>>320439267
Whelp, I guess I'll try to fit both PE and Christmas Nights into my Christmas Eve.
>>320439737
Parasite Eve is short and sweet and can beat it in about 5 - 7 hours. After your first play through though you unlock the new game+ challenge tower to unlock the true ending.
>>320435107
Maybe A link to the past on GB advance
>>320436210
>>320436290
>>320436818
It's really worth it for the comfiness especially when play both in order. Quit over exaggerating how much of a "chore" it is
>>320442436
I've honestly never finished GS2.
I've beat GS1 tons of times and I remember getting GS2 for Christmas and going through the trouble of putting my gold code from GS1 into the game. Every time I get to the part where you basically free roam with the ship, I put the game down for a week or something and when I come back I have absolutely zero idea where I'm supposed to be going or what I'm supposed to be doing and trying to search the entire map using the ship with random encounters every 2 seconds is incredibly painful and so I just drop the game.
>>320442436
>comfiness
Now that's an ugly meme.
>>320435107
I just rented Kid Icarus:Uprising from the library, but this'll be my first time playing it.
>>320438558
>>320438680
FFVII mind
>>320444293
>renting games from the library
WHAT
http://strawpoll.me/6287845
whats the comfiest game out of my backlog?
>>320435107
Metro 2033 and Metro LL if it snows. It's my go to snowing outside game.
>>320440907
fugg seeing the twin towers always gets me nostalgic
Im thinking terranigma or SMRPG or golden sun 2.
Not sure which.
>>320442982
That's part's pretty vague I understand can't remember where you find about the pieces of trident other than Champa but your first suppose to go to aqua and Gaia rock to get the powers you need then go to the Champa and talk to Briggs mom and she'll mark your map about the towers with pieces in them them you bring them back to her so she can fix it and you can use it to fight Posieden
>>320435107
Last Christmas was Mother 1. Shit was comfy
Ghost Trick
>>320444464
Underage detected. College life
>>320444685
Terranigma. Super Mario RPG would be good but it's too easy.
>>320445341
So is terranigma, charging with the spear haves way too much invulnerability time.
>>320444685
>terranigma
i start replaying it every one in a while and as i go further and remember that ending i end up dropping it
game's excellent tho, that zombie town is one of my favourite vidya "levels"
