LoL is just not a competitive game, it's designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator and be widely accessible at the cost of being deep or diverse. Riot constantly listens to tears of people who are bad at the game and nerfs whatever they complain about. The teamwork aspect is also really shallow, since the game is designed to be playable with randoms. That's good for the game's overall accessibility, but if you're playing it seriously with premades you're wasting your time playing a casual game designed for something entirely different than how you are playing it.
