How viable is solo g rank in this game compared to 3U? I killed everything but some of those multi monster arena missions and had a lot of fun.

I never used bows, I used mostly hammer with some greatsword, switch axe and a little longsword mixed in. Eventually most things were pretty easy but i'm sure they would have died much faster with a team.

What weapon do you use? Seltas Queen has to be my favorite monster. Been running a crit-draw GS for the longest time, and precision aiming my attacks at her weak-ass face. I sometime feel bad because I make her cry so many times.

Hits are satisfying.
Stab a monster in the leg and the weapon goes right through him without so much as a scratch noise, or bounces right off. Stab a monster in the face and you get a gory sound, a bloody hit effect, and the weapon swing animation actually freezes on that point of impact for a split second. Significant hits feel significant.
