the only particularly good looking KOFs were 12 and 13, although I guess the series hasn't looked this bad ever (barring Maximum Impact)
The rest had impressive bits to them (barring the 2001-XI time period, which had mediocre visuals), but SNK was putting out better looking and better animated games for a while (AOF3, Real Bout Special and 2, MOTW), the big draw of KOF was always the big-ass roster.
