atma grind is not bad this time around, the final step that needs 54k law or 800+ alex normal is a bit harsh though...
Does progress in the old grind get you a leg up in the new grind? I haven't played since shortly before Heavensward came out.
Relic weapons are for people who are too casual to clear relevant content but autistic enough to grind for hundreds of hours for a minor weapon upgrade.

It is. If you do nothing but alex, you only need to do 640 runs, since you'll get enough law doing those runs to buy the remaining pieces you need.

If they did relics like in FF11 with a bit of an update like WoW weapons, then il grind it out. These weapons get outdated waay too quickly and are only good for glam.
