So, I expect no more shitposting about hurr-uprdate urr drivurs

That is the complete opposite of gameworks.
Nvidia goyimworks cannot be disassembled and examined, it's a binary blob that a dev loads into their program to make certain effects.
These are free software solutions that can be taken and used for any purpose. AMD's solutions are universal while Nvidia's are only designed to work well on Nvidia
hurr-uprdate urr drivurs
Yeah but how are the hyper threads and the gflops?

>Open source
HAHAHAHAHA
AMD FAGS GET KEKED AGAIN
HAHAHAHAHA

>he doesn't know that's a good thing
Imagining the reaction this post would have on /g/ is enough condescension alone
As usual AMD does stuff for everyone, while Nvidia does stuff to lock out the market into 2 different parts. Nvidia is just plainful bad for the industry and the difference bewteen 82 fps and 87 is not worth ass fucking.

/g/ is retarded.
All it being open source means AMD still has nothing over Nvidia
>>320378521
AMD always had Gameworks. Only specific options in specific games got locked out. Even then, if you had a 290x, you still had more compute power than most GeForce class cards.

>nothing over Nvidia
>owns the entire home console market

AMD more or less has no choice but to make things open source, otherwise nobody would bother using them. Most people have an Nvidia card, so it makes business sense to use Gameworks, But why opt to use "AMDworks" if it would negatively effect the majority of your consumers? Having the AMD option be free is the only possible solution.
