Honestly people are only upset about Corrin because of the timing of it.
They overhyped the smash direct, really they shouldn't have revealed cloud at e3 but in the direct instead, his hype can't be beat. They only set the direct up for disappointment.
Additionally, because there's already a good number of FE reps, it just made people salty.
If it was only marth, ike, and robin people would be more excited for corrin and his moveset because its pretty unique.
