Daily reminder that building your own computer is:

Stupid.
More expensive.
More time consuming than ordering/purchasing a pre-built computer.

>2015
>Still wasting time and money building a computer

It's no longer 2009. Get with the times, the free market has made prebuilts super-competitive with "HURR BULD UR OWN COMPUTA FGT GET REKT NIGGR" to the point where you'll get a MUCH better deal on a prebuilt.

>Pre-Bbuilts work out of the box.
>Custom built computers have to be assembled.

>Don't have to worry about fucking anything up in pre-built.
>One mistake and you could fuck up a $300/$500 cpu and can't do shit about it; that's not even mentioning ESD which can fuck up the majority of computer parts.

>Warranties for entire pre-built machines can last upwards of 2 years.
>If something breaks in a custom build, you have to identify the individual manufacturer, find how long the warranty lasts (and most of the time it's either 6 months or at MOST a year for lesser-important parts)

In this day and age pre-built computers are the same price if not cheaper than custom built computers.

Eat shit neckbeards. inb4 butthurt /v/irgin ass frustration

MY computer is similar to this one, only with a better video card and it cost less to build though. Plus it was fun. Why are you so angry about other people's preference?

>tfw you have Windows 8
>can't upgrade to 10 because that would be double retardation
Laugh at me
>>
the point of buying parts is that you can buy parts when they are on sale

even then you should be upgrading any computer including pre-builts and that means knowing at least the very basics of what is compatible with what or else you're going to be buying some new generation CPU that doesn't work with your mobo
>>
> i7
> GT650
That's so mismatched that I'm guessing this is the only build you could get away with that image for.
>>
>shit case, overpriced, could get something better for $40
>Mobo isn't even an Zxx chipset, i7-3770k is basically useless
>GTX fucking 650, reaching PS4 tier
>Decent PSU, but 650W is way too much for the build, overpriced too
>i-fucking-7, there is absolutely no need for this thing, especially coupled with a fucking GTX 650; the fucking CPU is gonna be bottlenecked by the GPU
>16 fucking gigs of ram, which is waaay too overpriced anyway, not even DDR4, could get 8 gigs for $30
>Windows 8, actually buying Windows 8

Not enough poptarts or RAM cooling fans.
>>
>>320352658
Gtx650 is a garbage card
>>

I built my first computer from scratch a couple of years ago and didnt fuck up the cpu. Two years later and the computer i built still runs perfectly fine, abeit a little slow on newer games due to budget constraints.

Stay mad legally retarded fags, pc parts and a case of sculpin ipa is a fucking awesome day
