Why is there not a Metal Gear Solid major motion picture or series of mmp's?
It is an action-packed plot with strong political undertones and sci-fi input (overlapping lightly with the supernatural).
It seems like something that normie general audiences would lap up.

MGS's plot is relatively bare bones. Most of the story is told through codec calls and monologues. That wouldn't make for an interesting movie.

MGS is a stealth game, watching someone sneak around isn't interesting. They would have to make it a lot more action packed and that would go against the core nature of the series.
