Do you realize how many games have been released since the beginning? And don't give me the "but most of them are bad" bullshit since the same thing can be said for games that come out today.
It's cool, but it's not better than the real consoles or arcade boards because without them, emulation wouldn't exist.
it's good for preservation and archiving, and letting newer generations play older classics, that's for sure.

In Dolphin? It depends on the game. Generally, turning off EFB Access to CPU will increase frames but a lot of games need that to work correctly.
Also having a good GPU will only help you so much. You need a powerful CPU to emulate Wii games.
