Combat really is shit in the beginning, but the further you level the better it becomes, because it stops being a fucking chore.
It really doesn't even take all that long. Pretty much after you're done with Citadel it gets better (except for one sidemission which is hard as fuck if you're attempting to do it immediately).

I actually really like evolve. It's fun and really fucking polished, it just should not have been 60$ orr it should have had a SP, it's not like there's not content for it, there's plenty of ambient wildlife that already attack human characters during matches they coulf have used for SP enemies.
It didn't deserve all the DLC bitching though when it didn't have any other then skins and it died due to that.
Now there's nobody to play it with ;_;
