i've played about 6 hours of it. It's okay, pretty generic FPS #4251. It's cowadoody with GITS skins. It did however inspire me to get caught up with the series and I binge watched all of Arise yesterday along with the new movie.

Not quite, all characters have a special skill. Motoko for example has a cloak. It's based on a gauge that fills as you get kills. HAlfway you can use the skill for yourself. Full charge others can trigger it for themselves by being near you.

Very much so. Which was a bit of a let down but whatever.
There's also only like 7 stages across 3 game modes. The levels are small and not really unique. It does feature the VAs from the the show though, which is kind of cool. If you like twitch shooters, it's decent but it doesn't really stand out I'd say.
But it's also just as much fun as AAA $60 titles sooo, I'd say that's more of a pro rather than a con for $5.

Recoil is about right I'd say, if you're spray n pray you'll need to get a feel for how the muzzle lift is for each gun to get accurate. If you're doing short volleys, save some credits for modifications and you can get to very low recoil on some of the weapons.
If I had to nitpick flaws, I'd say it's the spawn points can get retarded if your team is getting rolled, aside from that it's a quality FPS.

I know what ghost in the shell is as an anime/movie/manga, but im talking about what this game is : a counter-strike clone with hero classes that can use wacky superpowers like giving all your allies a massive speed boost or a massive healing/tankiness upgrade
It's pretty good, optimization is weird, and a lot of things are shitty but it came out yesterday. In my opinion it's worth it. And yes, Nexons name is on it, but why the fuck does it matter? They just published it that's all
